Michael Simas: President/Evangelist

Michael Simas is a California native who has made Portland, Oregon his home for more than 25 years. A graduate of VETI School of Ministry in Portland, he has faithfully served as a minister and Evangelist for over two decades. He currently serves as the President of North Star Ministries.

Pastor Michael is deeply committed to community outreach, dedicating his ministry to supporting at-risk youth and individuals affected by gang activity. His work extends beyond the Church walls, collaborating with city officials and community leaders to address the challenges facing local neighborhoods. Through his leadership and compassion, Pastor Michael continues to bring hope, guidance, and transformation to those he serves.

James Moir: Evangelist

James Moir currently serves as Pastor of the Pacific Northwest Ekklesia Fellowship and has been an active leader within the Christian community and ministry work since 2001. Ekklesia is a community of like-minded believers committed to sharing the love of Christ through evangelism, outreach, and tent revivals. Our mission is to reach the hurting, the marginalized, and the disenfranchised, offering hope, restoration, and new life through Jesus Christ.
